At Blue Ocean Robotics we develop, produce and sell autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) for service applications across a range of market verticals. We aim at creating robots that make a difference in increasing quality of life and productivity for humans across the world. Our portfolio includes brands like; UVD Robots, an award winning mobile robot for disinfection; GoBe Robots, a mobile telepresence robot for communication, social inclusion and CO2 reductions and PTR Robots, a mobile robot for safe patient handling and rehabilitation.

Your position:

You will be responsible for all market development, penetration and outreach efforts that will grow the UVD Robots sales in the Western region of the US.

You will be working in an omni-channel structure, including direct sales to specific accounts. You will report to the VP of Sales in the USA, and join a sales team, as well as our Robot specialist, Clinical Support and marketing team.
Your role will additionally include:

  • Develop and execute on market plans, and ensure that we continue strengthening our market position and achieve our revenue targets.
  • Progressively strengthen our brand position within the infection prevention community.
  • Establish strong reference cases and clinical evidence to further strengthen the market position.
  • Responsible for all sales related activities in your own territory.
  • Work with the proven sales process from pre-sales, sales-consulting, to after sales service, and further upselling, and continuously improve this to advance our sales excellence practice.
  • Participation in regional exhibitions, workshops and other relevant marketing activities.
  • Structured sales and account management via pipeline management, activity based sales and CRM system.
  • Work in the market with sales related activities up till 40% of your time.
  • You will be working from home.

For the above-mentioned region you will drive and develop the market opportunities, and coordinate with local partners, and hence leverage your existing relationships into the region's healthcare space. This you will supplement with increasing presence within the regional infection prevention and EVS community.

Professional competencies:

You have experience in sales of technical products, from the healthcare market. Further skills required:

  • Educational background at relevant commercial or technical degree
  • 5 years of job experience from a similar position with a proven track record within capital goods sales in Healthcare.

  • Interested in innovation and new technology
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Self motivated, well structured and productive
  • High personal drive and energy
  • Good social skills and enjoy customer contact

Preferably you would be based in Southern California, LA, Orange, Ventura or San Diego County.
