Sales Representative - USA – Lower NY / New England (construction material)

SFTec LLC is a leader in the field of the FRP rebar industry. SFTec’s FRP rebar is made from composite (Fiberglass, Carbon Fiber or Basalt Fiber) which is manufactured by a pultrusion process using a mix of fibers and resin with various additives. The core products are rebar, rock bolt and hollow rebar. Job Description - Position Overview:

The combination of Customer relationship, market knowledge, and communication skills are all required to succeed in this sales and client relations role, the incumbent will oversee all sales cycles for FRP rebar building materials.

Needed Background:

· Min 3 years of Construction/building (rebar) Materials sales experience
· Preferred candidate will have a Civil Engineering degree

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Effectively communicate detailed information on the various products and services provided by the company to our established and potential customers in a positive and informative manner.
· Demonstrate skill in all phases of the sales cycle including prospecting, acquiring, identifying and qualifying customers: o Generate new business and revenue through cold calling o Organize joint sales calls with vendors and senior sales staff o Prepare weekly sales reports o Prepare sales orders and quotes o Consistently meet or exceed monthly sales budget o Attend sales meetings & visit clients as needed o Be available for training and other activities

· Experience and Skill Required: o Proficient at gathering market intelligence along with negotiating, closing and follow up of sales orders o Excellent customer service as well as both verbal and written communication skills o Able to multi-task in fast-paced environment with shifting priorities o Proficient level of computer skills; MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, SharePoint) and
Sales Force or equivalent CRM sales package o Decision making and problem resolution skills o Should be honest, ethical, dedicated, dependable and approachable o Good organizational and time management skills

· Candidate will need to have a valid passport and a driving license (and be available for possible trips overseas)

Education Requirements:

· Bachelor's degree required
· Good knowledge of Finance

Job Type: Independent contractor

Work location: Home (but local travel is expected)

Area to cover: USA – Lower NY / New England

Pay package: commission based ONLY
