ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

  • Models a service attitude towards others, takes ownership in solving problems and takes the initiative to make things better, is friendly and courteous to residents, patients and co-workers
  • Maintain good attendance record
  • Receive inquiries (phone, email, website, internal referrals), communicate services, determine financial and need suitability, and schedule appointments/tours as needed
  • Responsible for meeting with prospects and their families and presenting programs and services of Forefront Living
  • Maintains referral development and prospect files, as directed by Manager
  • Routinely review and update contactdatabases to identify and follow up on leads from all sources
  • Coordinate all move-in functions for new residents or resident transfers
  • Telemarketing with potential leads and qualified prospects
  • Communicates Forefront Living’s mission through public speaking, membership and participation in community events as needed
  • Assist in identifying innovative eventsand methods to increase visitation of targeted groups
  • Shadow Directors, Managers, and Residential Sales Counselors on prospect discovery, tours, and closings with the goal of expanding the role or possible promotion to next level
  • Conduct tours for all levels of care on the PVN campus
  • Obtain and maintain knowledge of competitors
  • Assist with development and implementation of facility marketing plans, including calling or meeting senior citizen organizations, and/or social service organization
  • Assist with preparation and attend Marketing meetings
  • Complete residency paperwork with all approved residents and distribute information to appropriate personnel
  • Prepare weekly reports as required, i.e. daily census, admits, room changes, resident listings, etc.
  • Ensure resident/patient, visitor, and co-worker safety by remaining aware of and reporting any new or existing safety hazards.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience/background in a healthcare and/or senior living environment beneficial but not required
  • Basic knowledge of levels of living within a Continuing Care Retirement Community
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills with proficiency in listening, tactful negotiation, and conflict resolution
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external customers
  • Professionalism in appearance, attitude, and behavior
  • Ability to comfortably interact and develop and nurture collaborative relationships within the organization and with external partners
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrated willingness to learn new skills, including sales, service, and technical
  • Ability to handle multiple duties simultaneously with superior organization and effective prioritization skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Genuine interest in the care of mature adults, ill and/or debilitated patients, as well as hospice patients and their families
