Job description

The salon coordinator's role is to greet every client as they enter the shop with a smile, a hello, and an offer of a free beverage. They should chat with the client to find out if they have a reservation or they are a walk-in and is responsible for getting the clients information into the computer system as well as to schedule them for their next appointment. Additionally, the salon coordinator acts as the "glue" that holds the operations of the salon together. They help where needed, whether it's helping the stylist clean up between clients, doing/folding the laundry or it's general cleaning of the salon. The salon coordinator will need to have a flexible schedule with availability to work evenings and weekends. The most important attribute for the coordinator is their ability to connect with clients and make them feel welcome. Also important is a desire to work as part of a team and ability to answer phones with proper etiquette and learn the POS system.
