SANITATION WORKER
Sanitation Workers are responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all production areas, equipment and utensils. You may be required to work weekends on short notice. This position works closely with maintenance, production and quality assurance. Prior cleaning/sanitation experience in a food-processing environment preferred.
The Sanitation Worker be working with Quality Assurance to ensure:
- precise cleaning and sanitizing steps of commercial equipment,
- following all protocol when entering high care zones,
- understanding instruction on chemical usage,
- ensuring safety precautions and wearing appropriate PPE is worn,
- must follow daily cleaning requirements and scheduled Master Cleaning Schedule and document appropriately
- must be able to work 2nd shift and weekends as needed.
COMPETENCIES: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:
- Exposure to high and/or low temperatures
- Stand 8 Hours
- Lift 40+ Lbs
- Fast Paced
- Bilingual English and Spanish Preferred
