We are recruiting for a full time Scheduler to answer incoming calls to perform scheduling functions for multiple sites and modalities for Outpatient Imaging.

Office Hours:

• Day Shift - Flexible hours

Principal duties and responsibilities:

• Manages the daily influx of phone calls from patients, physician's offices, and other providers and insures the accurate and timely routing and resolution
• Interacting with patient and/or physician offices to facilitate scheduling
• Handling very high call center volume
• Acquiring financial and/or insurance information for all third-party payors
• Coordinating multiple resources and procedures
• Knowledge of pre-authorization and referrals
• Other related duties as the need arises

Education and experience requirements:

High School diploma

Minimum of 1-2 years related medical office experience with knowledge of computer scheduling for multiple providers preferred.

An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
