We are seeking a detailed and dedicated Scheduler/Caregiver, who will be responsible for managing the schedule, establishing and maintaining positive relationships with customers and referral sources, responding to customer requests and concerns, on-call after hours, and caregiving.

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Directs daily referral and intake operations including providing direct oversight of the establishment and implementation of intake policies.
  • Directs the implementation of improved work methods and procedures to ensure clients are admitted in accordance with policy.
  • Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with current and potential referral sources and co-workers.
  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of the organizations’ contractual relationships and ensures that clients are admitted according to contract provisions.
  • Maintains comprehensive working knowledge of Agency resources and assists referral sources in accessing Agency resources should services not be provided.
  • Handles all telephone calls regarding scheduling and coordination of service delivery personnel to meet client scheduling needs.
  • Accepts assignments from the supervisor or designee.
  • Schedules personnel.
  • Contacts individuals for assignments and scheduling.
  • Coordinates client requests for service.
  • Coordinates personnel scheduling requests as able.
  • Consults with the care coordinator or supervisor for clinical and administrative issues.
  • Provides "on-call report" to the supervisor each evening.
  • On-call after hours and weekends.
  • Provide personal care and support services, as necessary, to meet the client's needs, reporting and recording these observations and documenting the services provided.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school graduate or GED; Associate Degree preferred.
  • Two years’ scheduling experience, preferably in private duty or home care.
  • Demonstrated communication, negotiation, and public relation skills.
  • Ability to demonstrate autonomy, organization, assertiveness, flexibility, and cooperation in performing job responsibilities.
