SAIC has an immediate opening for a Scheduler to develop and maintain project and program level Integrated Master Schedules (IMS). The successful candidate will perform analysis and provides status for project schedules for submission to Government personnel. Analysis, recommendations for alternative courses of action, and status updates will be required on an on-going basis to ensure customers, service providers, and teams maintain awareness of current program statuses.

Responsibilities

On the Job Training will be provided in the customer’s specific knowledge domain, but the successful candidate must be able to:

• Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Project
• Maintain associated schedule milestones and related sub-projects
• Work collaboratively across the enterprise and with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate activities with IT portfolio managers, policy leads, resource managers, and program managers
• Capture, document, and present analysis process, findings, and project statuses to decision makers
• Understand, document, and communicate enterprise interdependencies
• Ensure meeting coordination, scope clarity, policy compliance, and alignment with strategic objectives
• Work closely with the Government customer to analyze schedules, and make recommendations related to management of the schedule, performance status, project contract actions, system dependencies, and critical path

Qualifications

TYPICAL EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Bachelors and nine(9) years or more experience; Masters and tseven (7) years or more experience; PhD and four (4) years related experience

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in a Business, Management, or other business-related discipline; An AS or AA degree and an additional four (4) years of experience; OR an additional eight (8) years of experience may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
• PMP and/or Agile certification is a plus, but not required
• ITIL certification is a plus, but not required

Desired Experience:

• Two (2) years of experience in a business or technical position providing integrated master schedule support.
• Two (2) or more years of experience with Project Management
• Experience using MS Project to plan and document program schedules
• Excellent writing, organization, verbal communication, and presentation skills

Clearance Requirement:

• Must Possess and maintain a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) with Poly
