Position Summary
In this role, you will be working as a Project Controls Specialist to provide schedule engineering support for the planning, execution, and commissioning of critical infrastructure work, including, civil infrastructure, electrical equipment installation, and connection work. You will plan, schedule development, project progress update, reporting, resource tracking, schedule control, monitoring, and monthly reporting. You will control and monitor key project milestones and codes needed to track progress performance. You will review weekly stakeholder reports and reports on major issues affecting design, permitting, construction, and installation work to the Project Management and Controls managers.

Location:
Multiple undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.

Position Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor* – Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or closely related technical field of study.
  • Experience: One (1) * year in the position above, as a Scheduling or Controls
  • Engineer, or in a related construction industry scheduling or project controls role.
  • Education and/or experience must include:
  • 1. Primavera P6 project scheduling software.
  • 2. Using the Critical Path Method in the construction industry.
  • 3. Project management.

  • Will accept equivalent foreign degree; will accept a graduate degree in the above fields of study in lieu of experience; will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.

Additional Requirements
Physical: Standing or sitting for long periods; must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times and spend extended hours in front of a computer screen.
Cognitive: Problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills; computer and software skills; and ability to read and interpret text online or in printed form.
