Availability

Work hours: Monday-Friday 10:00h-18:30h

This position requires flexibility to cover on call status on an alternating schedule.


Essential Functions: The Operations Coordinator supports the Special Operations Department with scheduling, planning, and logistics for field operations. This position requires constant communication between clients, company sales and leadership officers. Position ensures field staff are covered and briefed according to standards. Heavy computer utilization and proficiency is always expected, as well as heavy call volumes with regional and local supervisors and staff to ensure all shifts are covered in their entirety.

This position focuses heavily on professional and collegiate sports team air travel (charter flights), however alternate clients are also supported. Conference calls discussing operational planning with clients, as well as briefings to staff detailing each jobs duty are daily requirements.


Staff in the Special Operations Department are subjected to working in all environments, with a variety of clients, stress situations for complex projects which demand analytical skills, logical reasoning, and excellent communication skills as a part of the security infrastructure in the above cited contracts. All personnel are involved in multi-level aspects with all clients.

Core Competencies:

Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Adobe Acrobat

Excellent Web Research Skills

Able to multi-task

Self-starter who can work without direct supervision

Willing to work additional hours in the event of an emergency Willing to work in the field as needed

Willing to travel a minimum of 10% within the United States (as needed).


Additional requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to effectively speak, write, and understand the English language
  • Must possess valid NYS Driver License with a clean driving record
  • Must be willing and able to participate, with negative results at all times, in pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing.
  • No history of ever failing an FAA Drug or Alcohol test
  • Associates Degree or higher preferred.
  • Must be able to pass complete 10-year background check
  • Prefer 1+ years of Customer Service experience
  • Prefer 3+ years of Security/Criminal Justice experience
  • Willingness to obtain NYS Security Guard License if not already in possession
  • Prefer candidates interested in a career in the Security, Aviation or Criminal Justice Industries

Sensory Requirements: must be able to look at computer screens for extended amounts of time. Must have adequate sight with or without the use of corrective lenses; adequate hearing is also required for phone communications.

Environmental: Indoor office setting, indoor/outdoor setting at airport, some travel required

Language Skills: English Proficiency required (reading, writing, and speaking)

Mathematical Skills: Basic Arithmetic
