Cognosante is looking for an experienced SCRUM Masters to define, mature, build, and continue improve our approach to Agile development. We’re looking for an outstanding Scrum Master who knows how to work with teams of product managers and highly skilled engineers in a fast pace Agile environment.

The Role
You will be the team lead for the development of product backlog, prioritization and for all sprint planning and reviews. You will assist with team and program coordination and communicating with upper management. You have a proven track record as a Scrum Master and can demonstrate initiative and determination in assuring the team has a robust well managed Scrum process. You will be part of a team dedicated to change Healthcare IT.
Key Responsibilities

Lead all Scrum related ceremonies, including: Daily Standup, Backlog Refinement, Retrospectives, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Planning ceremonies.

Coaching teams on Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe in simple terms

Provide leadership in identifying iterative process improvements and methods to streamline adoption of the methodology

Support Deliverables to include Release Burn Down Charts, Sprint Burn Down Charts, and sprint summations for the customer and the team

Support solicitation of input and feedback from stakeholders and users after each Sprint

Take initiative and act as a leader to foster collaboration and communication between team members on technical issues, on process improvements, and in addressing and escalating project risks and issues.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree
-
Minimum of 5 solid years' experience coaching incremental software development projects using Scrum approach and SAFe
-
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
-
Very strong coaching, facilitation, planning and organizational skills
-
Scrum Master certification (CSM) and SAFe certification
-
Demonstrated experience in iterative methodologies (Scrum/SAFe)- leading Scrum meetings, Sprints, Product Backlogs, Burn Down Charts, and/or Develop User Stories

Highly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong work ethic; self-starter

Strong technical writing and presentation skills

In-depth understanding of the software development life cycle for implementing enterprise level systems
Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery environments

Understanding of the role of software development tools and processes such as version control, defect and issue trackers, build processes, team collaboration tools

Experience working with dispersed teams, and using online communication tools such as Microsoft Teams or similar.

Experience working with many development teams with varied personalities and communication styles
