  • Lead one or more SW scrum teams on hybrid or SW projects independently
  • Act as Team Lead to assigned programs, conducting meetings, establishing deliverables and accountability, communicating progress and results to all interested parties, and ensuring that all critical elements of the program, from design to commercialization, are on target to meet objectives,
  • Continually assess the Scrum maturity of the team and organization and coach the team to higher levels of maturity at a pace that is sustainable
  • Schedule and facilitate all Scrum Ceremonies, identify risks, track dependencies, and remove impediments
  • Track and communicate team velocity and sprint progress to all affected teams and management.
  • Work with Product Owner to review and prioritize the product backlog so the right work is done in the right order.
  • On Hybrid (HW & SW IoT) programs work closely with the Program Manager and entire core team on the HW/SW Integration plan and SW release plan to support it from planning through final execution and release.
  • Prepare and deliver executive level communication and/or presentations regarding project reviews, assessments, New Product Reviews, Roadmap reviews, etc. to varying audiences with the appropriate level of data analysis and transparency
  • Ensure that the development team has been fully allocated and accounted for during the planning process
  • Assist the team in making appropriate commitments through story selection and task definition
  • Maintain consistency within Jira and polices the proper use of the tool amongst the development team
  • Remove barriers for team that hinder completion of Sprint Goals
  • Provide leadership updates on measures, impact assessment, removal of roadblocks, and conflicts on change of scope decisions
  • Prepare project artifacts defined by the organization
  • Coach the Scrum Team and organization on the appropriate use of Agile / Scrum practices and values
  • Ensure New Product Development and business processes compliance for SW efforts and programs
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to support the growth and development or best practices and processes
  • Responsible for complying with the security requirements set forth by the Information Security team and the established ISO 27001 Security Roles, Responsibilities, and Authorities Document found in the ISMS Document Library
  • Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams
  • Protect CGI’s reputation by keeping information confidential
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Advanced Scrum Master Certification (A-CSM) with an Associate's degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Typically 4+ years of Scrum Master or Program Management experience with 2+ years of that
  • Experience in SW Development efforts in a hardware / software product development capacity, preferably applications development or configuration
  • Experience working with Requirements Management solutions, preferably JIRA and Confluence
  • Experience in working with large complex systems
  • Knowledge of numerous well documented patterns and techniques for filling in the intentional gaps left in the Scrum approach (example: numerous burn down techniques, numerous retrospective formats, handling bugs, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Agile techniques including XP, Kanban
  • Able to travel up to 5% of the time domestically and internationally
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Certified Scrum Professional - Scrum Master (CSP-SM) with a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or equivalent experience

The pay range for this position is $89,000 to $153,000; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
