Your Opportunity:
Venture Solutions is seeking a growth-minded Scrum Master to join our Digital Transformation team.
In this role, you will be part of a team delivering our critical transformation activities associated with simplification and consolidation of our technology portfolio. This role will be integral in both the execution of our consolidation as well as engaging in shaping our future operating model. You should have experience leading migration projects from custom legacy solutions to standard offerings. This transformational role will be expected to identify, inform and improve the consolidation process as well as the future state operating model. You should be comfortable working in a matrix organization, driving change management activities, resolving challenges and communicating project updates.
Your Responsibilities:
  • Guides the Migration & Program Implementation Teams on how to use AGILE practices and principles to deliver high-quality products and services to our customers
  • Partner with and support the Program and Product Leadership
  • Gets team to a high-performing level by recognizing areas of strength and improvement and employing appropriate coaching and development techniques
  • Resolves team impediments to increase the effectiveness of the transformation and agile ways of working in the organization
  • Management of the Scrum schedule including assignment of resources, planning of projects, and setting of milestones
  • Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution
  • Works with Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision-making and support projects or product teams
  • Establish and maintain the team capacity plan, Scrum board, sprint backlog, velocity charts and burn-down charts
  • Responsible for ensuring Scrum is understood and the team adheres to Scrum theory, practice, and guidelines
  • Coaches the Scrum team in self-organization, cross-functional skills, domain knowledge
  • Communicates effectively
  • Contributes to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Demo, and Sprint Retrospective, and works collaboratively with the product, development, UX, and QA teams to size features/enhancements, understand dependencies, constraints, risks, etc.
  • Knows the value of metrics and incremental delivery, and uses tools to produce, present, and track these metrics in order to predict and react to the team’s performance

You Must Have
  • Scaled Agile Scrum Master Certification
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience with a proven history of growing Agile teams into maturity
  • Exemplifies and promotes Agile values and principles
  • Good communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
  • Knowledge of Agile frameworks or methods (i.e. Scrum, Kanban), understanding of software development life cycle models, and in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices (waterfall, and hybrid)
  • Adept at refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
  • Ability to plan and problem-solve with product management and delivery teams
  • Experienced working in JIRA or other Agile management tools (i.e., create dashboards, queries, run reports)
  • Ability to collect and analyze team velocity and capacity and apply to future planning

  • Experience in transformation from custom to product
