Job summary

Amazon is looking for aspiring and motivated individuals who align with our Leadership Principles for our Software Development Apprenticeship Program. If accepted, apprentices will be provided both formalized IT training and on the job training leading to an interview as a Software Development Engineer with Amazon. As an apprentice, you will have a unique opportunity to combine technical and hands on training with our team as you develop your Software Development skills.

The Software Development Engineer Apprenticeship Program is an accelerated career development program for professionals who want to advance their technical skills. Training is broken into two main pieces: instructor-led and on-the-job training.

The instructor-led training (ILT) portion will tentatively start on November 28, 2022 and consists of 18 weeks of training in a remote classroom environment. Upon successful completion of instructor-led training, apprentices will proceed to in-person or virtual on-the-job training.

The pay range for this position in Colorado is $53.13/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A sign-on bonus and restricted stock units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
