About Your Role:
Dotdash Meredith is looking for a detail-oriented SDET Lead to help continue to shape our automation platform and grow our QA engineering team to be ready for our next phase of growth across all our brands.
About Your Contributions:
- Design, implement, execute and maintain an automation framework based on business requirements.
- Develop and organize scripts, tools, documentation, and test data sets in a version control system.
- Troubleshoot issues that team members are having with various tools and support systems.
- Ability to advocate for Improvements in automation engineering efforts to the executive management team.
About You:
- 5 years of experience working as a automation engineer and 2-3 years as a senior automation engineer/lead
- 4 years of experience in Selenium Testing with Java
- Experience with Selenium Grid and knowledge of containerized test ecosystems
- Experience of CI/CD platforms, focusing on technical artifact organization, integration testing, and scripted deployment
- Experience with implementing and maintaining automation framework and test tools
- Have contributed to open source platforms in an SDET capacity
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent project management skills, extreme attention to detail, ability to multitask, and verbal/written communication skills.
- Self-starter who can develop scrappy solutions to solve challenges.
