Seasonal Kitchen Staff - Juneau, AK
Come join us in beautiful Juneau, Alaska! Allen Marine Tours is a family-owned business, and one of the oldest tour companies in Alaska. We have been cruising the pristine waters of the Inside Passage for over 45 years. We are hiring Seasonal Kitchen Staff!

Duties/Responsibilities: Kitchen Staff: Server / Dishwasher / Prep cook

• Present a professional and friendly attitude at all times on duty.
• Move inventory from Sitka storage area to Fin Island Lodge.
• Rotate, thaw, prepare and grill salmon, prime rib, and king crab.
• Clean and sanitize grill.
• Prepare and cook side dishes, act as dishwasher and prep cook.
• Serve salmon, prime rib and king crab to guests. Serve dessert.
• Wash dishes, clean & sanitize kitchen.
• Provide assistance to other crew to enhance passenger experience, including answering questions and helping passengers with specific problems/requests.
• Haul trash to Sitka.
• Other duties as needed, under supervision of Manager.

Qualifications/Experience: Kitchen Staff: Server / Dishwasher / Prep cook

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Prefer experience in food service. Server, server, server, cook, etc.
• Must pass the State of Alaska Food Handlers test.
• Must be able to maintain a professional, friendly attitude toward customers.
• Must be able to work as a team with other crew to provide a quality experience for customers.
• Must be able to lift and move objects of up to 50 lbs. as required.
• Must be drug free (pre-employment and random drug testing is coast guard required).
• Must be able to work varied shift hours, including weekends and holidays. Days off will be scheduled but must be willing to be flexible in meeting tour demand.
• Must be clean, well groomed, courteous, honest, and most important, reliable.
• Uniform jackets and hats are provided.

PAY: Kitchen Staff: Server / Dishwasher / Prep cook
DOE. Limited benefits. This is a full time seasonal position from May to October. Preference will be given to candidates who can work the entire season without interruption. A bonus will be paid to employees who complete their contract in good standing.
