Note: This is a seasonal opportunity to develop and acquire IT skills. High School graduates, college students, and tech/trade school students are encouraged to apply.
Minimum Requirements
Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma.
Valid driver’s license.
Capable of carrying reasonable loads and other manual tasks as well as ability to follow detailed oral and written instructions as required to outfit schools with 21st century technological devices.
Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this position.
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with minimal supervision and with or without reasonable accommodations.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work harmoniously with staff, students, and community.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems.
Previous experience working with computers, mobile devices, tablets and/or other technology in a professional, school or personal setting.
Able to multitask.
Role Responsibilities
Perform tasks such as reconditioning, formatting, configuring and/or installation of software and/or apps to a variety of computer and mobile technology equipment.
Perform quality assurance/quality control audits
Assist in maintaining inventory records and documentation for equipment.
Asset tag and scan systems according to WCPS specifications.
Move materials and equipment, load and unload trucks, and process delivery orders.Ensure quality of product output following company standards
Assist full time IT staff with tasks as requested or assigned.
Operate a motor vehicle or delivery van.
Demonstrate courteous and professional demeanor to all stakeholders of Washington County Public Schools.
Other duties as assigned.
