JOB SUMMARY

The Assistant Security Manager will assist with overseeing all aspects of Security Operations for RMI International, Inc., and will be assigned to support the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority’s Service Contract.

Tasks will include but are not limited to:

JOB LOCATION

In and around Los Angeles County, California. The position reports to the corporate office in Paramount, CA.

REPORTS TO

The Assistant Manager will report directly to the Account Manager and VP of Operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

· Assist with overseeing all personnel and operations.

· Assist with ensuring all contractual requirements and directives are met, including staffing and performance.

· Assist with implementing changes to deployment strategy, employing flexibility and creativity in deployment.

· Interfacing regularly with client designees to ensure compliance and standards are adhered to,

· Interacting with subcontract partners and assisting with mentoring opportunities when needed

· Facilitating quality assurance and staff compliance protocols.

· Assist with reviewing raw data and provide LA Metro with comprehensive reports on all activities.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

· Prior security experience (required)

· Bilingual or multilingual, preferred.

· Experience working in a management and/or assistant management job position (required)

· General knowledge of theTransit system in theGreater Los Angeles area, ispreferred.

· Proven experience in planning, developing and managing large-scale projects.

· Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to make operational and process decisions and solve problems creatively.

• Clear understanding and knowledge of all computers, communication, and guard tour systems.

· Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check (up to 7 years)

SALARY

$68,640 annual (salaried-exempted position)
