YOUR ROLE

Polaris is seeking qualified and capable Security Guards in the New York, New Yorkarea, to provide security support to a premier player in the hospitality industry. Polaris would prefer guards with experience in all of the following:

• Excellent customer service skills that enable the candidate to manage a high-profile post with continuous guest interaction.
• Professional experience in the upscale hospitality/hotel industry.
• Ability to maintain a static or mobile post for a specific timeframe.
• Experience functioning as a security presence and enforcing access control protocols to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Experience with escalation protocols in the event of emergencies.

Three (3) potential shifts are available: a day shift (7AM to 3PM), afternoon shift (3PM to 11PM), or evening shift (11PM to 7AM) each Monday through Sunday. This position is flexible; part-time candidates will be considered, though full-time applicants are preferred. The salary for this position is fixed at $20 per hour – though all employees are eligible to receive benefits, including medical coverage, paid time off, and sick leave.
