Job description
Employee is responsible for the security of the County City Building Complex, including fire and safety checks.
This position is part-time, non-exempt and is covered under the Saint Joseph County Employee Policy Manual.
Hours: Midnight - Noon Shift Times: Saturday, Sunday,Holidays
Essential Functions:
- Locking and unlocking doors, turning lights on and off at proper times
- Passing all County City Building entrants through the lobby magnetometer and X-Ray machines
- Reporting injuries or accidents to the Human Resources Department
- Enforcing fire and safety rules
- Assisting with crowd control
- Periodically patrolling premises
- Monitoring building HVAC system and other related duties
