Job description
Job Summary :
Works collaboratively with the staff of the hospital and contracted security management company to provide a safe environment for our stakeholders. Proactively addresses and deescalates tense situations and/or conflict. Responds to requests for security assistance and works with law enforcement as needed. Enforces security policies and procedures of the hospital. Investigates incidents and prepares written reports. Provides security-related training and patrols the premises as needed. The primary role and responsibility will be that of the hospital’s “first responder”.

$15.24 - $23.62

Experience
Required- Must maintain a valid LA license and excellent driving record.
- Will need to maintain certification with both lethal and non-lethal response capabilities as well as semiannual physical readiness testing and detention techniques.
- Peace Officer Standards & Training (POST) active or inactive certification.
Education
Required- High School Diploma or better
- Associates Degree or better
