Security Shift Supervisor Position Overview

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that is a quick learner and can multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Systems are web-based so the individual must be computer savvy. Must have a scheduling background or be able to maneuver through schedules, have good communication, and be able to troubleshoot and solution-based results. Primary responsibilities include scheduling, post inspections, DARS reporting, and guard training.

The Security Shift Supervisor position will be responsible for oversight, coordination, and operational control of the uniformed security guard. This individual shall also be responsible for the continuous creation and implementation of processes to ensure that the highest caliber of services is provided to every valued client. Must work a flex schedule and be willing to provide a support system to the security guards. Will rotate in on schedule weekly and must be available weekends/flex schedule if needed.

• Coordinate continuous training of assigned personnel to ensure the productivity of staff. Must be able to maneuver through schedules with coverage results, recruit, inspections, and provide online reporting.
• Work with all personnel in the organization to identify, analyze and solve problems and create solutions for continuous improvement.
• Must be computer savvy with excellent written and oral communication skills
• Act as liaison between the Account Manager and Branch Manager on the needs of the customer
• Maintain regular attendance records and punctuality to ensure minimal disruption of the company’s operations.
• Ensure company policies and requirements are consistently applied and enforced throughout the company.
• Assist with enforcing and training staff; on detailed and comprehensive written security procedures (post orders) for all service locations..
• This position shall have on-call responsibilities.

Education/Experience:

Minimum of 3 Yr. Experience in the Security industry is Preferred with valid Guard Card. Prior military, veteran, and law enforcement and security management experience are preferred.
