What you will do:

• Responsible for purchasing and buying seed for retail branches within assigned area
• Process product requests, purchase orders creation, grower sales contracts monitoring, and manage demand from forecast upload
• Analyze branch forecast and demand, and communicate with suppliers regarding demand and allocation needs
• Participate in shipping coordination, product requests, dealing with issues, and distribution issues
• Lead marketing programs and seed purchase deadline timeline compliance
• Assist branches in program timelines, deadlines, and order fulfilment
• Run, analyze, and monitor sales based on miscellaneous ad-hoc reports
• Assist branches in maintaining compliance with grower licenses, stewardship requirements, and agreements
• Lead retail seed supply support
• Participate in training, respond to retail issues, follow Division Seed Manager direction, provide divisional support, and attend trade shows
• Coordinate seed and seed package returns with suppliers, seed supply placement, and storage location capacity
• Manage supply issues, determine and communicate necessary substitutions and cuts with division and branch staff
• Conduct analyses to identify supply issues and assist in grower contract substitutions allocations

What you will bring:

• 
  Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in a Business-related field; experience may be considered in lieu of education
• Minimum of 5 years of related experience required, preferably in logistics and supply planning
• Experience with SAP/IBP /ARS ERP is considered an asset
• Strong communication and presentation skills are preferred
