Position Summary

The Contract Specialist will assist in the full-cycle contract process including preparing and sending for legal review for Municipal and Sales Contracts.

Essential Responsibilities

• Receives the bid specifications for the Sales and Municipal Account Managers
• Supports the bid process by reviewing, creating, and providing the draft contract for Corporate Review
• Familiarize themselves with the current contracts to track upcoming end dates
• Coordinates with Corporate Counsel for legal review prior to Corporate Review
• Performs administrative and “leg work” for pulling information needed for contracts
• Other Duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Accounting; Paralegal Certificate or Degree Preferred
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working directly with legal Contract review and working knowledge of New York State requirements
• Extensive knowledge of contract principles and procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent administrative skills.
• Excellent written and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
