Senior Accountant
Note: This position is a full-time, long-term, temporary assignment. Benefits available, including medical, dental, vision, paid holidays and Paid Time Off program.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting activities, such as, the maintaining of the fixed asset and deprecation ledger.
- Perform account analysis on key balance sheet accounts.
- Prepare a variety of external and internal financial reports.
- Assist with the semi and annual external audit.
- Assist accounts payable and accounts receivable when needed.
- Perform cost accountant functions including managing consignment inventory and posting entries relating to inventory reserve, lower of cost or market, and capitalized labor and overhead
- Perform other assignments as determined by the Controller.
Position Qualifications:
- Four (4) year degree in financial accounting required
- Minimum four (4) years of experience in financial accounting required
- Accounting for manufacturing company referred
- Two (2) years’ experience in public accounting is highly preferred
