Qualifications

3+ years' of professional accounting experience

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience

Proficient in using MS Excel (Sum IF, VLOOKUP, etc)

Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting

They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset

The Senior Accountant will assist with leading the team to build and develop scalable operational accounting and month-end close processes and will play a critical role in managing and actively participating in the accounting cycle while helping design new processes that leverage technology to drive efficiency

Reconcile technical accounting areas on a monthly basis, Prepare general ledger account reconciliations (i.e. debt, leases, prepaids, accruals and cash flow statements)

Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes

Review general ledger transactions to ensure coding is accurate and all ending balances tie out to supporting documents

Strategic refining of processes to drive efficiency and providing high quality service/deliverables

Support business change as it relates to strategic initiatives, internal growth, as well as help manage and drive projects to completion

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour
