Job Description

Summary of Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Analyst to be part of the Accounting Operations team within the Raytheon Technologies’ Enterprise Service organization in Farmington, CT. This person will perform the following primary responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

• Performing monthly closing activities related to Intercompany and Intracompany reconciliation and journal entries.
• Works within the SAP sub-ledger to analyze and match interentity sales and receipts on a transactional level. Manages high volumes of data utilizing data analytics to identify sub data sets. Open item manages sub-ledgers.
• Responsible for a monthly confirmation process for domestic entities with all trading partners. Identifies disputes and works with counterpart in solving disputes. Has a natural curiosity to find root case of issues and brings forth solutions.
• Process Accounts Payable invoices for inter-entity transactions.
• Analyze and perform Intercompany Semi-Annual Clearing of Domestic entities and subsidiaries.
• Prepare netting details and payment details for entities.
• Contribute to expansion of services by bringing innovative solutions within the knowledge base and work of the department.

Required Skills:

• Knowledge of or experience with current finance and accounting systems and month end close procedures
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and database reporting skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem identification, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Self-starter with the ability to take the initiative and ownership of assignment and a desire to improve processes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective working independently or collaboratively as a team player

Desired Skills:

• CPA a plus
• Operational Finance experience preferred
• Knowledge and reporting experience with SAP and HFM

Required Education and Experience

• This role typically requires a minimum 2 Years’ experience and a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field.

US Citizenship:

• This position require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship
• This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
