Responsibilities:
You Will . . .

Benefits Administration
  • Support the day-to-day administration of company sponsored benefits including Medical, Prescription, Dental, Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Disability, and Voluntary benefits
  • Serve as a key resource in supporting all aspects of the annual open enrollment process
  • Utilize our HRIS system to manage employee changes
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of laws, regulations, policies and industry trends
  • Document and maintain team policies and procedures
  • Review and interpret plan documents and contracts
  • Support the review of compliance testing results and filings
Training, Communications & Employee Support
  • Develop and maintain employee communications that include but not limited to benefit guides, new hire presentation, quarterly wellness newsletter
  • Train and assists fellow team members in HRIS and vendor systems
  • Assist employees with benefits questions
Continuous Improvement and Projects
  • Follow and share market trends and developments in the health and welfare space
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for continued process improvements
  • Collaborate with carrier and vendor partners on troubleshooting complex escalated matters pertaining to provider network inquiries and issues, customer service quality, reporting etc.
  • Analyze data to ensure accuracy for eligibility and enrollment
  • All other duties as assigned by the Director of Benefits

Qualifications:
The Experience You Will Bring (Minimum Requirements):
  • Associate or bachelor degree in HR Management or related discipline
  • 3+ years of HR, benefits and/or consulting experience
  • Working knowledge of state, local and Federal benefit laws and guidelines including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, HIPAA, ACA etc.
  • Strong working knowledge and experience with full Microsoft Office suite
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Familiarity with UKG (formerly known as Ultipro) human resources information system (HRIS)
  • Travel Requirements: Less than 5%; U.S.-based travel primarily only when necessary
