ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Business Insights Analyst, you’ll work cross functionally to help inform our sales strategy and business decisions and ensure that Extend is operating at its full potential. This role will be critical in supporting the revenue organization by providing insight to improve sales, business development and customer success efficiencies and effectiveness. This role will work closely with the CRO, Sales and Business Development leaders across a variety of long-term strategic initiatives as well as ad-hoc projects. Projects range from the highly strategic to operational including building a scalable reporting infrastructure specific for the Revenue focused team at Extend. You will help in evaluating market opportunities, pipeline development, team efficiencies, product growth strategies, and regular reviews of key performance metrics. You’ll also be supporting key executive meetings and updates, as well as producing materials that will be utilized in customer meetings and industry events.

At Extend, youll:

  • Develop, implement, and manage an analytics framework with key metrics derived from business goals, attribution rules and relevant reporting along the funnel across sales, marketing and the wider go-to-market organization to measure business performance and develop actionable insights to improve performance
  • Build, execute and oversee the analytics cadence and format and the regular distribution of sales and marketing reports and insights to management and executive leadership
  • Manage the day-to-day use and the enhancement of analytics tools, reports and dashboards and drive adoption across sales and marketing leaders and their teams
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders in sales, marketing, product and other key functions to capture and support analytical needs and enable better decision-making
  • Integrate data into reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
  • Ensure collection of relevant sales and marketing data for performance tracking, organize, validate, and manage the data, and help improve data accuracy and consistency
  • Find patterns and trends in the analyzed data to create new business goals and accelerate revenue growth
  • Perform complex analyses to support ad hoc requests and strategic projects for the leadership team
  • Create excellent presentations derived from data analytics to inform decision making and go to market strategies
  • Provide updates to leadership, and be a critical member of the Revenue Team

THE CANDIDATE

Ideally, youll have:

  • 5+ years of experience in sales data analytics, business insights, marketing insights, sales strategy, or related field
  • Ability to think strategically and formulate analytical solutions based on large, complex data set
  • Experience independently managing analytical projects from inception to delivery
  • Possess knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • A curious thought partner with an entrepreneurial mindset and keen problem solving skills, who has demonstrated the ability to identify new opportunities and execute on them effectively
  • Strong proficiency in Salesforce, BI/analytics tools, SQL, and Excel or Google Sheets and Powerpoint
  • The ability to see within data, to mine opportunities and then to turn them into Powerpoint presentations that can be used in executive level meetings - both internal and external
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and excellent analytical skills
  • This role will be based in NYC
