Scope and Purpose:

We are seeking experienced Senior Disability Income Claims Examiner. Our busy Disability Income examiners evaluate medical claims submissions and process the claims on our systems. Our claims examiners also provide customer service to our policyholders over the phone. We prefer someone with excellent leadership skills with an ability to communicate in a friendly and effective manner to the claims examiners team as well as our customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate medical claim submissions
  • Process claims in our operating system
  • Speak to policyholders over the phone with a focus on providing excellent customer focus.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate’s degree; Internship or prior work experience in a corporate insurance or financial office is preferred.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Intermediate Word and Excel skills
  • Ability to multitask while using various computer applications.
  • Prior insurance experience is a plus.
  • Works well under pressure
  • Detail oriented; strong organizational skills.
  • Works independently with minimum supervision
  • We want a leader who takes pride in their work
