Job Classification:
Operations - Insurance OperationsThe successful candidate will be responsible for effectively adjudicating claims to meet production, quality, and service metrics in accordance with policy/procedures and regulatory guidelines. This entails working with both internal and external partners to obtain information required for claim handling. The Claims Examiner also:
Key Responsibilities:
Creating a fast, accurate, and seamless experience for the beneficiary
Verifies, corrects, and completes claims information by telephone, letter, or personal contact
Communicating to our beneficiaries and advisors in a professional manner, both verbal and written to bring claims into good order
Reviews claims and extracts information for processing
Calculates benefits payable
Determining good order of requirements and processing the claim
Apply procedures and interpret contractual provisions
Participate in projects as needed
Qualifications:
Equivalent industry experience preferred
Working knowledge of Life Claims is a plus
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to build strong relationships with your team and leaders
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Impeccable organization, time management, and problem-solving skills
Enjoy the challenge of working in an ever-changing and fast-moving environment.
