Work Locations: With the exception of some select roles that have in-office requirements, A+E Networks operates on a flexible model that allows for remote, hybrid or full time in office work (in certain locales).

Job Description
THE ROLE: Senior Coordinator, AES Production Finance
A+E Networks has an amazing Senior Coordinator opportunity in Los Angeles providing support to the AES Production Finance department.
MORE ABOUT WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Providing support to SVP Production Finance and department working closely with Manager Production Finance: Main preparer of AES and Lifetime development payments, assist Manager with prep/wrapping of scripted shows for Studio
  • Deep dive learning working in coordination with Finance Manager
  • Exposure to and ability to use Smart Accounting, Cashet, and Movie Magic to help provide detail for reconciliations and ad hoc analysis with Finance Executives
  • Assist with cash flows and production schedule to fund productions and third - party service providers
  • Assist with preparation of tax credit applications and audits
  • Helping audits of financial policies and procedures.
  • Participate in notes meetings, giving feedback on budgets and cost reports for current shows and projects
  • Work closely with Manager on foreign exchange buys and track rates for maximum financial benefits working with Corporate Tax and Corporate Accounting
  • Close contact and communication with Production Finance Executives to maintain communication and workflow processes with accounting departments hired to work on current productions
  • Support Production Finance Executives to ensure accounting teams provide required reports in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Assist with Ad Hoc analysis as needed

YOUR STORY:
  • BA/BS Degree
  • 3 years working in production accounting/finance
  • Have strong sense of budgeting- Scripted
  • Familiar with Industry Guild/Union rules
  • Knowledge of Movie Magic Budgeting, Smart Accounting, Excel
  • Strong time management and multi-tasking skills needed and must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Detailed-oriented and extremely organized
  • Must have the ability to work independently, efficiently and be able to meet deadlines under strict time constraints
  • Knowledge or experience in development, production accounting, production, post
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must be able to handle confidential information
Compensation
Hourly Pay Range: $29.01 - $37.29
Annual Incentive Target: 5%

  • The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the
minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will
be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills,
