Senior Corporate Accountant

What we are looking for:

Aldridge is hiring!! Our accounting team is looking for a Corporate Accountant to join the team. You will use your accounting knowledge by applying principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. You will compile information and analyze account date while utilizing appropriate accounting control procedures. If you are someone that enjoys analyzing data and working in databases you will also have the opportunity to use these skills as well.

What you’ll do:

• Perform as key contributor in monthly general ledger close including recording of journal entries and financial statement preparation within established deadlines. Ensures integrity and accuracy of accounting information. Maintains detailed schedules as needed.
• Complete bank reconciliations.
• Support external auditors in accumulation and preparation of required auditing documentation and schedules.
• Analyze assigned accounts monthly and recommend appropriate adjusting journal entries.
• Manage new vendor approval process.
• Special Project work for Controller and CFO.
• Report to work ready to perform assigned tasks by using established safe work practices.

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. CPA preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong computer knowledge, including intermediate to advanced Excel, PowerPoint, QuickBooks and Data Base skills.
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience.
