Atkins North America, Inc. seeks Senior Cost Manager in Tampa, FL: Manage multiple procurement and logistics projects impacting $5 Million - $300 Million capital; Manage team of four for handling client’s procurement support needs; Lead support team for Tool Install (TI) with the objective of achieving cost savings as forecast; Develop data models using SQL, PowerBI and Excel VBA for negotiations to reduce cycle time and resource usage for requests for proposals; Manage the Supplier and Quantity Surveyor or Estimator cost reconciliation information systems across global locations; Act as proxy for client’s Facilities Construction Manager (TI Projects) in several supplier and factory partner meetings; Assist global supply managers of client in making cost effective scope allocations for ongoing construction; Develop WIF (What If Scenario) cost estimates to support client’s cost saving Initiative; Assist contract department in developing engineering services contracts and language to mitigate risk for the client; Develop and manage logistic calculators to assist client in construction crew space allocations; Manage cost reconciliation information system for client locations throughout the United States and globally; Oversee the deployment innovative contracting strategies to bring significant cost savings to client; Work with multiple global construction teams in rolling out the innovative contracting strategy to introduce and replicate the cost savings efforts.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Industrial, or related) and 2.5 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation (Cost Management Analyst, Cost Estimator). Experience in Excel VBA, SQL, R-Studio, PowerBI, AutoCAD, Solidworks. Experience in preparation of RFPs and cost estimates for large-scale construction and civil engineering projects.
