Responsible for complete and ultimate oversight of a large global enterprise caliber business aviation maintenance department which includes compliance with FAA and international regulatory bodies insuring operational readiness, financials, and management of both staff and third parties. Responsible for the preparation and oversight of work scopes for all work performed on all company and managed aircraft. Responsible for the preparation of all maintenance related financial planning and expenditures while reviewing all proposals and making informed recommendations to the SVP of Aviation.

What will you do?
- Responsible for the facilitation of all maintenance required to ensure the highest degree of aircraft airworthiness, reliability, and safety
- Responsible for developing accurate, comprehensive, and timely operating and capital budgets, along with ensuring the accuracy of vendor invoicing and services
- Ultimate responsibility for the scheduling of, and execution of all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
- Responsible for maintaining close liaison with industry SMEs, regulatory bodies, and OEMs to promote and ensure the access and application of best equipment and practices promoting operational capabilities of future state requirements
- Provides developmental coaching, mentoring and stretch development opportunities to reports through delegation and oversight
- Mentors, facilitates, documents and tracks technicians’ skill development and technical expertise, ensuring knowledge transfer aligned behind a Technical Skills Matrix
- Responsible for contributing and promoting Continuous Improvement efforts through the gathering of and analysis of data, and the creation, modification, and sustenance of appropriate standard practices
- Responsible for appropriately staffing to ensure safe and effective coverage of ad hoc, and away maintenance requirements to include all departures and arrivals
What do you need to succeed?
- Ten To Fifteen (10-15) Years Of Relevant Aircraft Maintenance Experience With Progressively Greater Responsibilities And Leadership
- FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) A&P License And Inspection Authorization (IA)
- Leadership Experience At The Fortune Level And Enterprise Caliber
- Advanced Technical Capabilities In Troubleshooting Turbine Powerplants, Complex Electromechanical, Complex Hydromechanical, Analog And Digital Systems, Satellite Telephony And Cabin Systems
- Advanced Familiarity With Various Applications Such As Maintenance Tracking Software, Aircraft Interfaces, And Microsoft Office Applications.
- Intermediate To Advanced Computer And Networking Knowledge Including Experience With Aircraft Telecommunication And Architecture And Integration
- Extensive Experience With Operating And Capital Budgeting Processes
- Familiarity With Data Analytics Is A Strong Plus
- AERO-IT Training With Certification A Strong Plus
- Wide Breadth Of Technical Training And Experience With Master Technician Certificate A Strong Plus
- Pilot Certificate A Strong Plus
- Bachelor’s Degree Required – Master’s Degree And/Or CAM A Strong Plus
- Holds A Valid Driver’s License With The Ability To Obtain An Airport Access Badge And Pass The Airport-Driving Test.
