What You'll Do:

  • Oversee best-in-class content and streaming publishing tools and operations
  • Meet with 3rd party vendors, attend relevant trade shows and conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities to improve the live streaming and content experience
  • Collaborate closely with digital content managers to understand their content needs, identify potential content sources, and establish strong partnerships with content providers
  • Lead operations for alternative broadcasts and new content acquisition
  • Lead the definition and execution of Bally Sports' content discovery, consumption and user personalization strategies
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and data analytics, to ensure seamless integration of new content into our products
  • Stay up to date with industry best practices, technological advancements, and competitor offerings in content publishing and discovery, incorporating relevant insights into product planning and development
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to content discovery and engagement, regularly monitoring and analyzing data and budgets to identify areas for improvement
  • Serve as a technical subject matter expert while collaborating with content leadership team

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of experience working with Direct-to-Consumer, OTT and/or live video products
  • Strong understanding of the content industry landscape, including publishers, aggregators, content management systems, and emerging content formats
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing content strategies that drive user engagement and retention
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve ambitious goals
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Analytics, or related field, or equivalent practical experience

The base salary compensation range for this role is $150,000 to $200,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidates' relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. Full time positions are eligible for benefits that include participation in a retirement plan, life and disability insurance, health, dental and vision plans, flexible spending accounts, sick leave, vacation time, personal time, parental leave and employee stock purchase plan.
