Position Title: Sr. Director Value Assessment & Reimbursement
Reports To: Head of Market Access, US, Vaccines

What the Role Is:
Sr. Director Value Assessment & Reimbursement will report to the Head of Market Access, Vaccines, US and is responsible for vaccine reimbursement engagement with LOCs and securing coverage and appropriate reimbursement for Sanofi Vaccines with payers.
Job Highlights:
Lead a team 10 plus professionals with emphasis on delivering an exceptional customer experience while keeping internal stakeholders abreast of marketplace dynamics
Lead payer engagement for product launches (Beyfortus) in collaboration with Sanofi Specialty BU account team
Be a change leader as Value Assessment team evolves and expands with an increased focus on reimbursement education
Lead the prioritization (and communicate for alignment) of the team’s customer and initiative priorities
Lead Reimbursement/Access engagement for Sanofi Vaccines within the Large Organized Customer space engaging key stakeholders with executive level presence
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Reimbursement/Access for portfolio of Sanofi Vaccines
Consistently monitor the marketplace for market access issues impacting patient and provider access, identifying threats and opportunities, and adjusting strategy in response to changes and latest trends
Synthesize observations and feedback from team on best practices to continuously improve total market approach, inclusive of access strategies and field engagement
Collaborate with Value and Access to develop reimbursement materials
Establish positive and productive working relationships with all key customer segments (internal and external) including Specialty and Regional Sales
Lead a small team of health econ / risk bearing organization experts able to engage in complex health-economic conversations
Ensure compliance requirements around reimbursement/access teams stay up to date with quality control measures in place to ensure adherence to requirements
Develop and conduct reimbursement specific trainings for broader commercial operations teams in compliance with Sanofi guidelines including new hires, refresher trainings, ongoing project(s), and technical trainings
Basic Qualifications:
Track record of excellence in leadership, people development and driving transformative change
Prior experience in one or more of the following: account management leadership in a buy & bill company, team leadership on reimbursement education to LOCs and/or payer account management for a pharmaceutical company
Commercial experience in the US healthcare system including buy and bill
Knowledge of US healthcare system, managed care, the evolving vaccine and/or pharma landscape, regulatory and payer environment, public health and industry trends
At least 15 years of experience in health care industry
Ability to elicit the best thinking, energy, commitment and performance from the team
Use digital tools to facilitate collaboration in a virtual team environment
Ability to travel 25%-40%
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree in related fields
Prior experience with health economics
