Senior Estimator
South Coast Improvement Company is a dynamic, success driven commercial construction management firm and we are seeking an Estimator to join our diverse, talented team. In addition to strong relationships with several well-respected institutions across various sectors in the greater Boston Area, South Coast Improvement has 85% repeat business with some of the largest providers of Senior Living and Affordable housing along the East Coast
This position is based in our Marion, MA headquarters.
Senior Estimator Qualifications:

• Construction estimating experience
• Thorough understanding of Blueprint reading including architectural, civil, food service, ID, structure and MEP.
• Thorough understanding of how to navigate and digest a specification book.
• Microsoft Office with a strong working knowledge of Excel, this position requires a high level of proficiency in Excel.
• Strong ability to qualify subcontractor quotes including subcontractor qualifications and exclusions.
• Comfortable negotiating pricing
• Experience estimating commercial renovation projects

Senior Estimator Required Skills:*

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently with solid decision making skills.
• Must be well organized and able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong software skills to include MS Office
• 5 years estimating experience
• Bachelors Degree preferred

Salary: $100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
