What is the role?
Senior Financial Analyst (Open to hiring anywhere in the US)
As Corporate Finance Senior Financial Analyst at ThoughtSpot, you'll be involved in planning, tracking and monitoring of the business across various segments of the organization. Reporting to the Corporate Finance Director, your focus will be dedicated to corporate finance and the General and Administrative (G&A) function where your analysis will help support the FP&A team specific to accounting, finance, human resources, among others. The successful candidate will be a savvy problem solver who is proactive in driving projects forward.
What you'll do:
- Own and maintain three-statement financial model, forecast revenue and expense, and participate in the monthly forecast planning process.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly P&L and high-level financial package, and communicate variances to plan/budget to business partners and other key stakeholders.
- Support the annual strategic planning process, including the evaluation of key metrics and models.
- Actively participate in management and Board business, including presentations and key analysis requests.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive scalable analyses and insights.
- Assist with ad hoc strategic and operational projects as needed
What you bring:
- 4+ years of experience in investment banking, financial advisory, management consulting, or high-growth technology company in a finance capacity.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint); experience in Adaptive, NetSuite and other financial systems are a plus.
- Advanced experience building and maintaining financial models and with corporate finance concepts.
- Exceptional attention to detail and verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and communicate flexibly across all levels.
