JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Financial Analyst position involves analyzing and investigating complex information reported in the internal financial statements and other key financial reports. This individual will work closely with senior Operations leaders and provide sound financial recommendations, reporting, profitability analysis, and forecasting of operational costs. This will include ad-hoc projects, special projects across peer groups and stretch assignments focused on improving profitability.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze financial results, trends and metrics on a monthly basis; Communicate and present results and forward-looking strategic support to Operations leadership and their teams in the form of in-depth monthly business reviews
  • Guide business partners to ensure sound financial decisions. Oversee applicable financial metrics that impact profitability as well as Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow performance.
  • Prepare annual budget, quarterly and long-range forecasts.
  • Drive simplification efforts and optimize the ways in which we work.
  • Dive deep to understand implications of business decisions.
  • Leverage technology, such as Alteryx and Tableau, to advance our reporting and data-analytic capabilities.
  • Work across all pillars of Finance & Accounting as needed such as during month-end close or on specific projects.
  • Conduct and lead quarterly/monthly financial business reviews and provide insights to aligned partners.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

Relevant Work Experience

  • At least 3 years of financial planning, reporting, and analysis experience.

Additional

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (including PowerPivot, PowerQuery, pivot tables, financial modeling)
  • Experience working with an ERP system – SAP experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting.
  • Tableau experience preferred.
  • SQL experience preferred.
