Position Summary
The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer provides the application platform that enables our users to conduct patient management and outreach. The Full Stack Software Engineer will design, implement, extend and support various full-stack Java applications that sustain Healthmap’s critical business operations and proprietary software.

Position Summary
The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer provides the application platform that enables our users to conduct patient management and outreach. The Full Stack Software Engineer will design, implement, extend and support various full-stack Java applications that sustain Healthmap’s critical business operations and proprietary software.
Responsibilities
- Work with Product and QA in a fast-paced agile environment to deliver cloud-based scalable and extensible full-stack Java applications with focus on operational excellence and user experience
- Lead the design, implementation, and delivery of large feature releases. Know how to divide tasks so they can work in parallel with other SDEs and reassemble into a cohesive launch
- Lead in various engineering efforts such as design/code review, unit testing, CI/CD pipeline, static code analysis to ensure development is done with high quality
- Participate in Production Support rotation to debug/track/resolve issues on a timely manner and provide RCA as needed
- Contribute to existing documentation and adapt content based on product update and user feedback
- Champion innovation in our product development with focus on simplification, scalability, observability, and quality
- Provide mentorship to other team members in terms of software engineering best practices and project delivery
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related STEM fields or equivalent work experience
- 8 years of experience with Bachelor’s or 6 years with Master’s in software development, and with data structures/algorithms in the following areas:
- Expert experience with Java, JavaScript, CSS and HTML
- Advanced experience with RDBMS such as MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Advanced experience with Java ORM frameworks such as Hibernate, iBatis
- Advanced experience with REST APIs
- Advanced experience with Junit and Mockito
- Experience with major cloud platform such as AWS, GCP
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins
- Ability to lead the system design and implementation of complex software solutions based on user requirements with high quality
- Ability to estimate time to complete a project end-to-end with reasonable accuracy
- Knowledge or strong interest in US healthcare industry
- Passionate about problem solving with know-how to get things done
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
