The Senior Integration Analyst is tasked with planning, coordinating, and managing the assimilation of new software applications and programs and integrating those into the organization's existing Health Information Technology environment. The analyst supports each department by determining its systemic needs, recommending changes, implementing new software solutions, and instructing users about the interface. Responsible for reviewing and documenting the process/interface infrastructure and operating systems of the company and recommending options for developing process efficiency for assimilating data availability. Position advises on system integration techniques to the department heads for making operating activities more capable. The analyst also monitors system efficiency, updates current software to correct errors and support in software system installation. The primary focus of this role is to manage the day-to-day integration operations, react to incidents, design, build, and test enhancements and plan future integrations with new partners. The Senior Integration Engineer must be able to interpret business requirements and translate those into design, approach, and timelines in conjunction with the PMO.

** Remote based role within the Charlotte, NC area**

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Supports and maintains company’s Ensemble Hl7 engine, related interfaces, and workflow integrations.
  • Provides on-call duties supporting both interface and other IT applications requiring 24-hour availability when scheduled.
  • Documents data flows and maintains specification libraries for interface channels.
  • Plans, coordinates, and conducts upgrades of system as needed.
  • Implements monitoring of interfaces.
  • Supports the Center of Excellence with regards to integration standards and best practices
  • Collaborates with multiple departments, stakeholders, operating companies, and external vendors.
  • Recommend solutions to improve new and existing systems.
  • Educate staff members through training and individual support.
  • Seeks opportunities to learn new and emerging technologies and approaches to interface development.
  • Provide support by responding to system problems in a timely and professional manner.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education/Licensing/Certification:
  • Bachelor’s in computer science, Business or related field is preferred, will consider an equivalent combination of education, professional training, or work experience in place of degree.
Experience:
  • 5 years of interface development required.
  • 3+ years working within the healthcare industry required.
  • Strong understanding of Ensemble interface engine and Healthcare interface languages (HL7, EDI, XML, FHIR, etc.) preferred
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills (oral and written) with internal/external customers and coworkers.
  • Strong skillset in MS office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and more.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Must be able to deal with highly urgent issues.
  • Exceptional critical thinking, communication, problem-solving and cross-group collaboration skills.
  • Demonstrate ability to multitask while working independently or collaboratively and ability to adapt to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
