Home Health Aide (HHA)
Up to $22.00/hour
Full-Time and Part-Time Shifts Available, Mercer County, NJ
Who We Need:
The ideal candidate must have a passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities
We are looking for Home Health Aides to join our Residential Team in providing quality care to residents in an environment that promotes their rights, dignity, freedom of choice, and individuality.
What You Need:
- Maintain the comfort, privacy, and dignity of each individual in the delivery of services.
- Interact with individuals to display warmth and promote a caring environment.
- Attend to the individual needs of consumers which may include: assistance with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting, lifting/transferring, communicating, engaging, or other needs in keeping with the individuals' care requirements.
- Assisting with cooking, cleaning, recreational activities, and community outings/involvement.
- Administer medications and complete appropriate documentation
- Accompany individuals to and from appointments
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Successful completion of a Home Health Aide Certification course and other education which meets state requirements
- Valid driver's license (less than 3 suspensions and/or points in the past 3 years)
- Prior experience providing direct care to adult individuals.
- Experience working with adults with developmental disabilities is a plus.
