Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with recruiting effort: attending job fairs and maintaining internal and external job postings.
  • Generate documents, including offer letters and status changes for distribution to internal parties.
  • Conduct Onboarding and Offboarding meetings.
  • Maintain electronic and physical employee files (client uses ADP)
  • Manage leave administration, including disability, Paid Family Leave, FMLA and Workers Compensation.
  • Maintain personnel records regarding performance evaluation, vaccination status and annual trainings as required.
  • Work closely with HR Director to manage the annual open enrollment process including ADP portal, staff communications and broker relationship.
  • Work closely with Union leadership to maintain a positive relationship and strong communication.

The successful candidate will offer the following skills and requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources with 3+ years of experience HR.
  • Payroll and Union experience a plus.
  • Commitment to best practices in human resource management, with a deep understanding of employee life cycle management.
  • Successful track record setting priorities; keen analytic, organization, and problem solving skills that support and enable sound decision making.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills with an ability to prioritize, negotiate and work with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment with diverse teams.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, credibility, empathy and dedication.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $65,000.00 per year
