Job Summary

We are seeking a TS/SCI cleared Data Center Cloud Engineer for our Data Center Services contract with an Intelligence Agency in Springfield, VA.

In this position you will work on a development team, utilizing Agile scrum methodology, which is responsible for developing and maintaining agency wide Platform as a Service (PaaS) capability deployed across multiple security domains. The PaaS environment supports multiple tenants deploying myriad application stacks.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

• Experience in the various aspects of hybrid cloud activities.
• Develop in an Agile/Scrum methodology
• Collaborate with a development team to accomplish goals
• Work with internal and external teams to understand integration requirements
• Work with Security to develop secure solutions
• Compile detailed documentation

Education/Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Programming, Science, Engineering or a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training, or work/military experience.
• 10+ years developer (or related) experience

Required Skills:

• Experience deploying and managing RedHat Open Shift in a cloud environment
• Experience with Amazon Web Services
• Python framework and Shell scripting
• Linux distributions: RedHat, CentOS
• CI/CD orchestration tools: GitLab CI, Jenkins
• Experience with one or more Javascript Frameworks (React, Angular, JQuery)
• Serverless and Microservice development
• Container technology: Docker, Kubernetes, and Cloud Native Computing Foundation ecosystem in general

Desired Certifications or Experience:

• Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift
• Amazon SAP on AWS
