About the team:

As part of the Learning & Development team at Robinhood, you will be supporting Platform Shared Services (PSS) and will be responsible for the design and delivery of learning and development programs that build world-class experiences for our customers. Specifically, you will be accountable for creating training and educational programs related to skills training, new hire onboarding, product launches, and new process or policy implementations, among other areas for our associates and registered representatives using a variety of instructional methods.

In this role, you will also be responsible for strategizing and developing new learning methodologies to meet our learner needs, project managing large-scale projects and lead team initiatives. The ideal candidate will provide resolutions to a diverse range of complex business problems and will assess curriculum improvement opportunities, revise training collateral and make recommendations as necessary.

What you'll do day-to-day:

  • Build engaging learning activities and compelling course content that improve knowledge and skills
  • Work with subject matter experts and identify target audience's training needs, conducting instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product, to work with, design, vendor partners, and delivery teams
  • Apply tested instructional design theories, practice and methods with supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role-plays, games, etc.)
  • Evaluate training data to improve training effectiveness
  • Run Learning Management System (LMS) related processes and reporting
  • Onboard new Learning and Development (L&D) members while coaching junior team members

About you:

  • 5+ years of success in a L&D role with experience in training design, development and delivery
  • Strong instructional design background with extensive experience conceptualizing, creating, and delivering trainings
  • Experience with learning tools, including instructor-led, workshop, group, on-the-job learning, and online and mobile learning
  • Highly collaborative with a "can do attitude" and the ability to lead multiple projects based on current and future business needs
  • Training development experience involving adult learners, such as in a call center and/or customer service and support environment
  • Experience analyzing, building, and assessing curricula for asynchronous and synchronous classroom-based or virtual training environments
  • Fluency with instructional systems design models and methodologies, authoring tools, and learning management systems integration
  • Experience creating learning content for multicultural adult audiences
  • Experience with project management and time management tools and methodologies

Bonus points:

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or related field preferred

CO Residents: In Colorado, the base pay for this position ranges from $70000 - $92000.
NYC Residents: In NYC, the base pay for this position ranges from $89000 - $105000.

This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in Robinhood's equity plan.

Base pay is determined by market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Please note, some of our roles are open to additional levels which would impact the expected base pay.
