Main Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for coordinating with functional teams including but not limited to FP&A, General Accounting, Treasury, Account Services Group (ASG), Field Controllers, Commercial, HR, and Legal for key income statement, balance sheet positions analysis, and forecasting cash flow
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to identify, develop and deliver key improvements to increase the efficiency of Finance operations
  • Lead reporting, analysis, and support decision-making for key P&L and balance sheet accounts
  • Lead for automation, data strategy, and governance to optimize the effort of different Finance teams
  • Lead IT implementation related to Finance functions
  • Undertake any projects assigned as per business needs
Qualifications
Education:
  • College/University degree with major in Finance preferred
  • Masters degree in Business Administration or Finance is preferred.
Work Experience:
  • Minimum of 10 years of FP&A, corporate accounting experience, including general accounting, accounts payable, and budgeting and forecasting.
  • Minimum of 3 years of supervisory and management experience required.
  • Supply Chain experience is a plus
  • Change Management with experience in leading transformation projects preferred
  • Airline experience is preferred
Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
  • Solid understanding of general accounting practices including accounts payable, tax, payroll, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and operational accounting and finance skills.
  • Dedication and an exceptional work ethic.
  • Strong customer relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners
  • Advanced proficiency with MS Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint.
  • Fundamental understanding of databases.
  • Fundamental understanding and aptitude to work within an ERP system; SAP would be advantageous.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems and Management Information Systems
Language / Communication Skills:
  • Ability to communicate well to internal and external partners verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrixed organization
