Aware, a global leader in biometrics, is looking for a Senior Manager of IT. Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, this role is responsible for technology planning, service execution and oversight of technology that supports business operations. The candidate must be able to balance daily operations and project work in a large scale, highly complex, cross-functional operating environment. The candidate should possess a natural enthusiasm for IT, diverse in-depth technical experience, business acumen, and strong customer service skills.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Manage all cloud IT operations across the organization
• Accomplish team results by developing talent and leading a team of IT professionals with varying levels of experience. Develop individual objectives to match departmental objectives.
• Partner and consult with business leaders to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to support and achieve company strategic goals
• Facilitate the design and implementation of enterprise class IT solutions
• Manage multiple concurrent technology projects
• Liaison with shared support teams at the business unit, enterprise, and with third party vendors
• Provide technical and analytical guidance on IT infrastructure and business systems
• Ensure systems meet or exceed agreed upon SLAs and OLAs
• Ensure appropriate configuration management, change control, and system/process documentation
• Safeguard assets by ensuring appropriate disaster recovery and back-up procedures, vulnerability management, and information security and control structures
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices;

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field
• Minimum 7+ years IT and/or business experience
• Management of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Familiarity with firewall and router configuration

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
