Job description
- Assist as required in protecting the company from natural disasters, civil unrest, acts of terrorism, and other workplace incidents
- Provide support and analysis for business line proposals
- Assist with the implementation of countermeasure planning and management support through vulnerability analysis for engineering, procurement, and construction projects in domestic and overseas locations
- Investigate fraud, bomb threat, theft, embezzlement, ethics violations, conflict of interest, senior management issues, and other alleged wrongdoing
- Identify the need for both proprietary and contact guard forces
- Provide assistance as necessary to company chemical screening efforts
- Other duties as assigned

Basic Job Requirements
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and twelve (12) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to sixteen (16) years if non-degreed; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
- Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
Other Job Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a DOE Q-Level security clearance
- Knowledge and experience with the NNSA/DOE Safeguards and Security Programs in respect to Protection Program Planning, Protective Force operations, and coordination of project activities.
- Experience working with sensitive nuclear materials (SNM) within progressive management environment, experience in Security & Safeguards with extensive knowledge of nuclear facility operations and associated hazards and impacts of noncompliance including impact to security directives, security strategies, PEMP goals, facility mission, and Safeguards requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent plus twelve (12) years Security experience
- Prior military and/or contingency operations experience preferred
- Knowledgeable of current security vulnerabilities and threats
