As the Senior Media Producer at Bezos Academy, you will join an innovative team to lead the design and creation of our learning-focused media content, specifically video and audio production. You will establish and implement approaches for creating engaging video-based learning for our teachers and staff across a growing network of tuition-free, Montessori-inspired preschools. You are a passionate visual storyteller with hands-on expertise in producing and delivering inspiring multimedia content for adult learning both directly and through vendor partners.
In this role, you will work with subject-area experts across our organization, translating their knowledge into media content that drives learner engagement. You will leverage data, analytics, and user testing to create interactive learning experiences. You will approach your work with an inclusive lens that meets the needs of our diverse and distributed workforce. You will champion and implement organization-wide digital media design, storage, retrieval, and formatting standards. Above all, you are inspired by our mission to expand access to high-quality preschools in under-resourc¬ed areas as we scale to hundreds of locations nationwide.

LOCATION

  • Flexible in the United States; TX, FL, or WA and within drivable distance of a current or upcoming Bezos Academy preschool preferred
  • Relocation support is available for those willing to relocate to Seattle, WA

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

  • This is a full-time, benefits-eligible, salaried position.
  • The full salary range for this position, across all United States geographies, is $83,000 - $165,000 per year. The upper portion of the salary range is typically reserved for existing employees who demonstrate strong performance over time. Starting salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience; during the interview process, candidates will learn the starting salary range applicable for their location.
  • This role includes 15 paid days of vacation, 4 days of paid personal time off, 7 paid days of sick (care) time, 9 paid holidays, 5 paid days off for an organization-wide winter break, and additional time off if required by applicable law. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of media production or related experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge in the creation, use, and deployment of digital media
  • Proficiency with audio/video editing software, video, and photography, audio, and lighting equipment
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects with the ability to anticipate and problem-solve issues
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Extensive knowledge of digital asset management systems, including structure, functionality, taxonomy, and metadata
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including effectively communicating technical issues to non-technical staff
